Education & Professional Background
Dr. Zhang earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from McGill University in Montreal, Canada, where she distinguished herself as both a scholar and a leader. She served as Class President and Executive President of the Dental Students’ Society, earning recognition for her leadership and professional accomplishments. For her outstanding achievements in leadership, scholarship, and clinical care, she was awarded the Dr. James McCutcheon Medal and the American Association of Public Health Dentistry Award.
Following dental school, Dr. Zhang moved to New York to complete a postdoctoral residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Columbia University Irving Medical Center / NY-Presbyterian Hospital. This intensive program expanded her expertise in comprehensive dental care, complex treatment planning, and advanced restorative techniques.
In addition to private practice, Dr. Zhang serves as an Adjunct Clinical Instructor at New York University College of Dentistry, where she mentors predoctoral students and instills the highest standards of clinical skill and ethical care in the next generation of dentists.
